CROW
The standard-issue starter bird. While lacking specialized stats, the Crow boasts balanced speed and agility. Its high intelligence stat unlocks unique puzzle interactions in urban environments, allowing players to manipulate shiny objects and distract NPCs. A solid all-rounder for exploring the map.
EAGLE
High altitude specialist. The Eagle suffers from slow takeoff speed but dominates in open skies with superior gliding stamina. Its "Eagle Eye" ability highlights prey and hidden items from extreme distances. Best suited for players who prefer long-range engagement and map control.
AMERICAN WOODCOCK
A community request from BG2. The Woodcock sacrifices flight duration for ground mobility. Its signature "Sky Dance" ability creates a rhythmic movement pattern that breaks enemy lock-on targeting, making it a master of escape in dense foliage. Not a fighter, but impossible to catch.
ICE HAWK
Native to the northern expansion zones. The Ice Hawk has increased resistance to weather effects and stamina drain in cold climates. Its dive attack inflicts a temporary "Chill" status on impact, slowing rival birds. A tactical choice for controlling high-altitude objectives.
SHOEBILL
The apex predator of the wetlands. Massive, intimidating, and brutally effective in close quarters. While it struggles with vertical ascent and navigating tight spaces, its "Stare Down" passive debuffs nearby enemies. Dominates 1v1 encounters but is vulnerable to swarms.
HUMMINGBIRD
[PATCH NOTE v1.05: HITBOX INCREASED]. Defines the "glass cannon" archetype. The Hummingbird possesses unmatched acceleration and a omni-directional dash. Requires constant nectar consumption to maintain energy. Deadly in the hands of a twitch-reflex player, but one hit spells game over.
JUNGLE CRANE
Optimized for the dense canopy layers. The Jungle Crane has silent footsteps and extended reach, making it the premier choice for egg-snatching missions. Its "Camouflage" ability blends with foliage when stationary, allowing for perfect ambushes on unsuspecting nests.
RAINBOW PHOENIX
A rumored unlockable. Trails light particles during flight. Unique mechanic: upon defeat, enters an "Ember Egg" state for 10 seconds. If the egg isn't destroyed, the bird respawns with 50% health. High cooldowns balance its potent resurrection ability.
DIAMOND CRANE
An armored variant of the standard Crane. Its crystalline feathers reflect projectile attacks and dazzle enemies in direct sunlight. Extremely heavy, preventing it from perching on weak branches. A status symbol for veteran players who have mastered the resource economy.

**LEGENDARY UNLOCKABLE**
Rumored to be unlocked by completing the game 100%. This bird is said to be "very fast," breaking the sound barrier and allowing you to traverse the entire map in seconds. No one has confirmed how to get it yet.
